This market will resolve to "Yes" if any individual who was elected as a New Democratic Party (NDP) Member of Parliament in the April 28, 2025 Canadian federal election is officially appointed to the federal cabinet under Prime Minister Mark Carney by July 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The cabinet member must be sworn into the federal cabinet and listed as a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada. Announcements alone will not qualify. The primary resolution sources for this market will be official government releases and a consensus of credible news reporting.
