On October 14, 2026, Faber & Faber, Sally Rooney's U.K. publisher, announced that it would stop supplying her works in the United Kingdom in all formats, citing restrictions arising from her support for Palestine Action. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Faber & Faber officially announces that it has resumed, or will resume, supply of Sally Rooney's books in the United Kingdom between market creation and the specified date, 11:59 PM ET, or if a consensus of credible reporting published within that period establishes that Faber & Faber has actually resumed such supply. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A qualifying announcement must be a declarative statement of Faber & Faber's present resumption of, or definitive decision to resume, supply in the United Kingdom of at least one of Sally Rooney's books published by Faber & Faber. Resumption in any one format, including print, ebook, or audiobook, will qualify. The resumption does not need to take effect by the specified date if a qualifying announcement is made within the specified period. Statements that describe a resumption of supply as possible, under consideration, expected, or conditional, and claims attributed to third parties, will not qualify as announcements. A qualifying announcement must be made by Faber & Faber, or by an individual authorized to speak on its behalf, through official channels. Separately, a consensus of credible reporting establishing that Faber & Faber has actually resumed supply will qualify even without an official announcement. Once a qualifying announcement is made, or qualifying actual resumption is established within the specified period, this market will resolve to "Yes," regardless of any subsequent contradictory statements or cessation of supply. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Faber & Faber; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
