Will Coinbase acquire Deribit for $5b or more?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if it is announced that Deribit will be, has been, or is being acquired by or merged with Coinbase in a deal valued at $5 billion or more by July 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." An announcement by Deribit or Coinbase will qualify for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether the acquisition or merger is ultimately completed, as long as the deal value is stated or credibly reported to be $5B or more. The deal value may include stock, cash, or a combination. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Deribit or Coinbase however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
