Will the next Pope require 9–10 ballots?

This market will resolve according to the number of rounds of voting cast in the papal conclave that results in the election of the next bishop of Rome after Pope Francis. If no new pope is elected by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The primary resolution source will be official information from the Vatican, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
