On April 2, 2025, Donald Trump announced reciprocal tariffs above the 10% baseline on 76 countries (59 countries specifically listed and the EU) scheduled to go into effect on April 9, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. EDT. See: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/apr/03/trumps-tariffs-the-full-list. This market will resolve to “Yes” if Donald Trump or his administration officially announces a pause, delay, or removal of country-specific reciprocal tariffs on any country by April 9, 12:00 AM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Any announcement within this market's time frame will qualify regardless of if/when the policy goes into effect. This market’s primary resolution source will be official information from the Trump administration; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
